The classic Northern Tanzania route

Arusha is the main gateway for the Northern Circuit. From here, travellers can combine Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park in one continuous safari route.

The best itinerary is not necessarily the one with the most parks. Spending enough time in Serengeti and allowing a realistic pace between destinations usually creates a better trip than changing accommodation every night.
